Carolyn Combs

The work of Carolyn Combs captures memorable characters in contemporary landscapes. She produced and directed the award winning short drama, Small Currents, released in January 2011 and distributed by Ouat Media. It was produced with the assistance of the BC Arts Council, the NFB and the CTV/WIDC director development award.

Michael Springate

Michael Springate grew up in Montreal and Quebec City. He studied at the Montreal Museum School of Fine Arts before founding The Painted Bird Ensemble, an interdisciplinary company that investigated new ways of creating theatrical narrative within formal musical structures…
