Lynne Carrow

Lynne Carrow

Lynne Carrow, one of Canada’s best known and most trusted Casting Directors, though recently retired, has accepted an Associate Producer’s role, and is consulting with us on casting.

She won a Gemini award for Best Casting for her work on the CBC television series Intelligence, as well as a Casting Society of America Award for her work in the CBS Miniseries Truman Capote’s In Cold Blood.  She has worked with a wide range of well established international directors and producers, but is very much beloved and respected in the Canadian film community for her consistent support of high quality independent work.

In 2010, Lynne cast the Vancouver features A Night for Dying Tigers for Terry Miles, as well as Katrin Bowen’s Amazon Falls – both selected for the 2010 Toronto and Vancouver International Film Festivals.  She also cast the Vancouver films The Odds (TIFF & VIFF 2011), Camera Shy (aka Klapstock Syndrome), and Donovan’s Echo (VIFF 2011).

Lynne has worked on a number of television movies, miniseries and episodic series, including The X-Files, and the award-winning miniseries Human Cargo for CBC.  Lynne also cast all of Haddock Entertainment’s television series: the multi award-winning DaVinci’s Inquest; DaVinci’s City Hall; and Intelligence.

Lynne has a Fine Arts degree in Drama, majoring in Acting, from the University of Calgary.  She worked professionally as an actress, moving from Calgary to Wales to England and then eventually to San Francisco, before settling in her true home in British Columbia.
